◆ご 挨 拶
この度、ギャラリーいまじん様にて、初めての個展を開催する運びとなりました。
東海を離れて早いもので4年が経ちますが、作品を皆様にお届けできる機会に恵まれ、 深い喜びを感じております。
本展のテーマは「鼓動」です。 現在暮らしている鹿児島県の雄大な自然や日々の風景、そして新たな土地で発見した自身の感覚を、日本画、アクリル、パステルなどを用いて表現しております。
尊い生命の「鼓動」を、ぜひ会場で感じていただければ幸いです。皆様のご来場を心よ りお待ちしております。
◆創作テーマについて
私にとって創作とは｢Vitality（生命力）｣です。
かつて、社会に生きづらさを感じ、心が壊れそうになったとき、生きることについて考 えたことがあります。 個の命が尽きるということは、単なる｢死｣ではなく、肉体が土に還り新たな生へと生ま れ変わるための｢循環｣であり、｢変化｣である……。そう感じたとき、生きることもま た、絶え間なく変化し続けることなのだと気付かされました。この「生命の循環」が生 み出す絶え間のない変化こそが、私が見出した「Vitality」の本質です。 そこから私は、五感で感じるあらゆるものに宿る生命の本質とその輝きを、深く観察 し、探求するように描くようになりました。 そうして命を見つめ、日本各地をまわってきた私の「点（軌跡）」は、鹿児島へと巡り 着きました。そこで体感した大自然（大地、太陽、海、森、空）が持つ圧倒的な力強さ は、私が描き続けてきた｢Vitality（生命力）｣と深く共鳴したのです。
私が生み出す表現が、誰かと結びつく「線（芸術という繋がり）」となり、生きること の尊さや、心がふっと軽くなる瞬間を作ることができれば幸いです。

◆ Greeting
I am pleased to be holding my first solo exhibition at Gallery Imagine.
It has already been four years since I left the Tokai region, and I am deeply grateful to have this opportunity to share my work with you.
The theme of this exhibition is "Kodō (Pulse)." Through Japanese-style painting, acrylics, pastels, and other media, I express the majestic natural surroundings and everyday scenery of Kagoshima Prefecture, where I now live, as well as my own new perceptions discovered here.
I hope you will experience the precious "pulse" of life here at the exhibition. I sincerely look forward to welcoming you.
About My Creative Theme
The theme of my work is "Vitality."
There was a time when I found it difficult to live within society and felt close to breaking down emotionally, which led me to reflect on what it means to live. I came to see the end of an individual life not simply as "death," but as a "cycle" and a "change": the body returns to the earth and is reborn as new life. I then realized that living, too, means continuing to change. This constant change within the "cycle of life" is what I see as the essence of "Vitality."
Since then, I have sought to express the essence and radiance of life that I perceive through the five senses. As I contemplated life and traveled throughout Japan, my own "point (trajectory)" eventually led me to Kagoshima. There, the overwhelming power of the natural world—the earth, sun, sea, forests, and sky—resonated deeply with the "Vitality" I have continued to explore through my work.
I hope that the expressions I create can become a "line"—a connection through art—that links me with others, conveying the preciousness of life and creating moments when the heart feels a little lighter.

初個展に寄せて
この度、ギャラリーいまじんにて日本画家・越山由唯さんの岐阜初個展「鼓動」を開催い たします。
名古屋造形大学で日本画を学び、京都での染色修行を経た彼女の作品には、確かな技法と 独自の色彩感覚が息づいています。
東海地方を離れて 4 年、活動の拠点を鹿児島へと移したことが彼女の芸術をさらなる高み へと押し上げました。雄大な大自然と対峙したことで、一貫して追求してきたテーマ ｢Vitality （生命力）｣は、作品の中で瑞々しい循環のエネルギーを放ち始めています。
さらに特筆すべきは、直前に成し遂げたニューヨークでの 4 人展の成功を納めたです。
現地の観 客を前に挑んだライブペイントではダイレクトな大歓声と熱狂を巻き起こし、表現者としての軸をより深く洗練させました。
本展では伝統的な日本画の枠に捉われず、多様な素材を用いて五感で捉えた生命の輝きを展開します。
世界を沸かせ、いま最も輝きを放つ越山由唯の「現在地」と、会場全体に鳴り響く尊い生命の「鼓動」をぜひ体感してください。
